Bio: After the Infamous confrontation with the being known as Nazo, the negative energy affecting the master emerald caused it to crack, having a few shards of the emerald break away. One of these shards was promptly stolen by Dr Ivo 'Eggman' Robotnik. With a shard containing near limitless amounts of energy in his grasp, he begins to work on a 'masterpiece' that will be able to finally surpass or go toe to toe with sonic and his friends in every aspect. The project was labelled 'ZX52', utilizing the shard to seemingly generate organic tissue from one of eggman's templates of his arch nemesis, effectively growing a natural hedgehog body with the master emerald shard as the heart, instead of an organic one. Thus, 'Project Tenebris' was 'born'.
Tenebris, starting off as biologically, a child, Looked up to Eggman as a father. The doctor surprisingly even treated The hedgehog as his son and acted the part of a loving dad towards his creation. Tenebris spent most of his time studying Tactics, standard education, basic hand to hand combat, and discovering his powers. The powers ranged from simple telekinesis, to the occasional Burst of energy firing out of his hands, blowing a hole in his room. He still didn't have a full grasp on controlling his abilities.
Upon hitting Teenhood, Tenebris was becoming a near unstoppable force. His reaction time was near instant, He could tear up his foes quickly and brutally with both his hands and his seemingly limitless arsenal of powers, which he had a much better grasp on, and his dexterity was off the charts. Combining all of this with the constant encouragement of his father and mentor, Eggman, He was near ready to take on what the hedgehog was put up to for over a decade.
Destroying Sonic the Hedgehog.
With the final test underway, Tenebris faced a replicated hologram of the doctors nemesis. Within a matter of minutes, the hologram was on his hands and knees, wounded and at the mercy of The Purple hedgehog. Without even blinking, he raised his hand to fire off an energy blast and put the hologram out of its misery. The holo looked up and locked eyes with his executioner, making Tenebris stop at the last second from letting the blast loose. Feelings that he never felt before flooded into Tenebris, feelings he was never introduced to, and brought something inside him into the light.
He felt pity. He felt what he was doing was wrong. The drones he sparred with fought to the bitter end, but this...This one couldn't do anything to defend himself. He wasn't a killer, right? He was only trying to help make his father's 'dream' become a reality. Was this what his father wanted for him? To become a murderer?
"What are you waiting for? Finish it!"
Tenebris's hand shook, then lowered, turning to the observing window and refusing to destroy his target. Outraged from being to close to achieving success, Eggman considered his project a bust, and ordered its immediate destruction, intending to salvage the shard from the remains of his creations broken body. The doctor explained the painful truth of what Tenebris really was: A weapon. A thing. Every compliment, every shred of love that he showed the rodent was all a ruse to make him completely obedient and unquestioning to him. Tenebris Blew a hole in the nearest wall, despite the security measures to prevent such from happening, and fled the facility he thought was his home, Fresh tears still flowing from his eyes.
The young hedgehog was broken. Torn to shreds by the truth. Now an outcast, there has almost nothing left to truly call his own. Since the disappearance of Tenebris, He was never sighted again, until 4 months later, Helping Sonic and company against one of Eggman's mechs. He disappeared again shortly after. When finally stopped by tails to ask who he was, The Purple hedgehog turned to face the fox, and said one sentence before running off.
"My name is Linux, and I am Eggman's worst nightmare."
